Samuel Solazzo, a student in our M.A. program Photography Studies and Practice, is currently participating in our annual exhibition Stopover at Museum Folkwang. His work »Future Remnants of What Has Been« consists of collages that bridge the photographic and the sculptural. Furthermore, he is now presented on the website of the photo magazine Der Greif. Each week, the magazine features a single artist and his or her work as part of an ongoing series of noteworthy new photographic endeavors.
Samuel was born in 1993 and has been studying at the Folkwang University of the Arts since 2019. Before coming to Essen, he received a B.F.A. in Visual Communication at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Furthermore, he is one of the publishers of the award-winning photo-zine KORRELATIONEN which has been published since 2018.
