Folkwang Photo Talks during the winter term 2026/2027

2.2.2027

We are delighted to continue our Folkwang Photo Talks lecture series in the winter semester 2026/27 with these three guests:

November 5, 2026
Juanita Solano Roa (Bogotá)

December 10, 2026
Paolo Magagnoli (Brisbane)

February 2, 2027
Cristina Baldacci (Venice)

The first talk will take place online via Zoom, the second one at our Quartier Nord venue, and the third one in a hybrid format, both at Quartier Nord and online.

As always, we will publish a detailed announcement on our website approximately one month before each talk, including an abstract of the lecture and biographical information about our guests. Everyone interested, both within and beyond Folkwang University of the Arts, is warmly welcome! No registration is required.

A complete list of all Folkwang Photo Talks held to date can be found here. Selected talks are also available in the seeing by ear series of the Essen Center for Photography.
